The Association for European Cardiovascular Pathology gratefully acknowledges the support of Cardiomyopathy UK and Agilent as sponsors of the Biennial meeting.
Cardiomyopathy UK supports the Olsen-Gourley Symposium through the Olsen-Gourley Fund, which originated as a bequest made by Dr Eckhardt GJ Olsen. Dr Olsen was a consultant histopathologist at the Royal Brompton Hospital who died in 2002. The Olsen-Gourley Symposium is named in his memory and is traditionally on heart muscle disease, reflecting the wishes of Dr Olsen. Cardiomyopathy UK manages the bequest and has supported the AECVP Biennial Meeting since the first Olsen-Gourley Symposium in 2008.
Dr Olsen published several well known books on cardiovascular pathology, as well as numerous papers.
We are grateful for the support of Agilent which is supporting this meeting through an unrestricted educational grant.
